The DGC Digital Trust Conformity Assessment Program represents a landmark initiative, designed to set benchmarks for digital governance and provide organizations with a rigorous framework to validate their digital practices. Central to this initiative is the recently published Technical Specification 115 (DGSI/TS 115) for Digital Credentials and Digital Trust Services, developed under the guidance of the Government of Canada and Standards Council of Canada as they seek to establish a new National Technical Specification.

DGSI/TS 115 outlines a methodology for testing and criteria for compliance in managing, issuing, storing, and verifying digital credentials. It establishes baseline requirements for interoperability and trust among issuers, verifiers, and holders, while promoting best practices in digital trust services. This framework ensures that systems are secure, data risks are minimized, and stakeholders have confidence in their digital interactions.

“Being the first to earn the Digital Trust Verified Trustmark for TS-115 is a significant milestone for AffinitiQuest,” said Ben Piercey, Chief Technology Officer of AffinitiQuest. “It confirms that our software products are ready to deliver secure, reliable, and forward-thinking solutions to our clients and partners seeking to benefit from Digital Credentials and Digital Trust Services.”

AffinitiQuest’s accomplishment highlights the importance of adopting robust digital governance frameworks. The DGC’s Digital Trust Conformity Assessment Program, underpinned by DGSI/TS 115, offers organizations a valuable opportunity to demonstrate their dedication to upholding data privacy, security, and transparency.
