Keynote Address
As part of our involvement, we delivered a Keynote Address which is now available on demand. Our Chief Technology Officer, Ben Piercey discussed the importance of Digital Trust technologies as Governments seek to achieve Service Delivery Excellence as they increase the digitalization of citizen services.
Panel Session: Coordinating Digital Transformation Across Services and Teams
Our CTO, Ben Piercey, had the privilege of participating in a panel discussion at AccelerateGOV 2024 alongside esteemed global leaders, including Brian Epley, Chief Information Officer at the U.S. Department of Commerce; TAN Eng Pheng, Assistant Chief Executive for Economic and National Development Clusters at GovTech Singapore; Joyce Dimech, Permanent Secretary at Malta’s Ministry for the National Heritage, the Arts & Local Government; and Shamsul Izhan Abdul Majid, Chief Technology and Innovation Officer at the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
The discussion focused on how governments can harness the potential of digital to improve services, emphasizing the need for interoperable systems and processes. Reflecting the Government of Canada’s Digital Ambition to enhance horizontal prioritization and portfolio management for citizen-centric services, the panel explored the role of centralized policies and frameworks in driving coordinated change. It also examined transformative developments such as digital credentials and single sign-in systems as enablers of effective and scalable government service delivery.

Impact Session: Transforming Federal Services with Digital Credentials
AffinitiQuest highlighted why Digital Credentials are a cornerstone of digital transformation for federal government services. We explored how digital credentials enhance security, improve efficiency, and increase accessibility for both government agencies and citizens.
By streamlining verification processes, these credentials reduce fraud and administrative burdens, enabling faster, more reliable access to critical services. Beyond operational benefits, adopting digital credentials empowers governments to deliver more responsive, user-friendly services, fostering greater public trust and stronger citizen engagement.
Attendees discussed actionable insights on how digital credentials can transform service delivery, creating a foundation for secure, seamless, and innovative digital government solutions.
